What's the big idea?
Red Monday is a certified software development house whose aim is to deliver
a user-friendly, practical and affordable solution to Radioactive Isotope
Management (RIM). This application will help Radiation Protection Officers to
control their organisation’s use and disposal of radioactive isotopes within a
flexible framework that will ensure all obligations are met.
RIM 2008 will be released in Jan 2008 and encapsulates Red Monday’s experience
in developing tracking and management solutions for radioactive
material management.
RIM 2008 will feature:
Order, stock and waste management
RIM 2008 incorporates all stages from ordering through delivery,
stocking, using to disposal including waste removal.
Configurable workflow
Whilst always ensuring the minimum requirements are met RIM
2008 allows you to simply configure its workflow and enforce
organisational process rules without the need for expensive
consultancy.
Multiple layer security
To prevent misuse, RIM 2008 is secured independently using a
combination of your existing organisational security model and
an application specific model. RIM 2008 offers a number of other
security measures such as timeouts and the 3 strike rule.
Audit Trail
To ensure the validity of your data, all modifications are logged
including administrator actions. This provides an extensive bread
crumb trail of each record and user’s activities.
Comprehensive flexible reporting
RIM 2008 incorporates a number of flexible reports to aid
management and reduce return overhead.
Extensive Administrator Control
The system administrator has a broad range of control from workflow
and security management to maintenance of application data.
Import and export functionality
Using the import wizard, values such as orders or isotopes can
be imported to help automate and connect your processes. Data
can be extracted from RIM 2008 using the export wizard for use
external applications such as Microsoft Excel.
Implementation Template
RIM 2008 offers a number of implementation templates for quick
installation and set up to be used as is or as a starting point for your
own unique configuration.
Workstation and server versions
RIM 2008 is available in 2 versions to suit different organisational
structures. RIM Workstation 2008 for individual or single team
implementation or RIM Server 2008 for enterprise delivery.

RIM 2008 is built on Microsoft’s .Net framework by a Microsoft certified
team and is supported by a Microsoft certified team.
